AlgoNatural for
Antonella Gorga
A designer tracksuit made in Italy in an ethical and sustainable way.
AlgoNatural
AlgoNatural is a sustainable clothing brand that aims to promote the concept of responsible and conscious fashion. Its main values are sustainability, ethics and quality which lead the company to worry about the origin and treatment of the fibers that make up the products it makes, but also about the protection of the environment and workers' rights.
This translates into a careful selection of suppliers and collaborators who share the same values and who actually produce high quality materials and/or products that are safe for people and have a low environmental impact.
La sartoria sociale “FÎL”
After the design and development of the model, the suit was made in Italy, in Udine, using a GOTS certified 100% ORGANIC cotton fabric, by a company with which AlgoNatural has been collaborating for years:la sartoria sociale FÎL.
The tailoring of the Caritas Center Association of Udine, is a laboratory created with the aim of offering useful spaces and times to also redevelop one's identity through work, through doing. It is a space of time dedicated to people in difficulty who want to enter or re-enter the world of work where they can experiment with the technical language of the tailoring profession. It is a way to start again, retraining one's skills which might seem small but which, accompanied and understood together with the operators, can become the starting point for a training and work project.
This collaboration was born from the awareness that work inclusion is an objective but above all it is a process of improving participation and working conditions for all people; it is a process in which we are all called to be promoters and collaborators.
Entrusting the creation of a garment to the FÎL Laboratory means giving an extra opportunity to the people they welcome, with a view to emancipation, empowerment and employment opportunities. Being able to participate in a project where people have the opportunity to work in authentic, valorising productive activities, with a client in relationship, becomes the creation of inclusion.
GOTS certified cotton
The tracksuit designed by Antonella Gorga is made of GOTS certified organic cotton and printed with certified inks, which respect the environment.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification is the most complete and important certification in the world of textiles as it guarantees compliance with ethical and environmental criteria.Furthermore, GOTS certification certifies the entire production chain, from the seed to the spinning of the fabric.
Certifications are particularly necessary currently, as we work in an increasingly globalized world, without common legislation at an international level. The certification bodies are impartial and award certifications to companies and products that meet their standards.
